Chinese desserts

My very first homemade chinese dessert with red dates and white fungus. A friend taught me this recipe after one horrible attempt trying to cook white fungus.

She said

“ika, white fungus always for desserts, black fungus is for dishes. Remember that”. Haha.

Well, I will now.

It is the basic recipe for lai-chee-kang, tasted very much like one. Papa would be so proud that I know how to make one now. He’ll probably ask me to make it everyday.
; )

There’s one secret ingredient that can make you look younger for 2 year in that bowl, well, according to Dr. Oz. Have fun guessing. haha
